Karl Hartmann BSc, MSc Exploration Manager - Craton Mining and Exploration
Karl is a geologist with over 25 years experience in project generation, evaluation and management. A Namibian national, Karl gained his B.Sc. in Geology at the University of Natal in South Africa and a M.Sc. in exploration geology at Rhodes University in South Africa.
Karl started his career as the mine geologist for the Rosh Pinah base metals mine in Namibia before moving to Gold Fields Ltd. as Mine Geologist at their Tsumeb and then Otjihase mine. Later with the same company, Karl was involved in exploration and project evaluation in South America. Karl joined International Base Metals in July 2007.

Bob is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in minerals exploration and research into the formation of ore deposits. His research activities centered on metal transport and deposition in hydrothermal fluids with particular emphasis on copper and gold with application to Carlin-type gold systems, porphyry copper deposits and epithermal deposits. Bob has conducted mineral exploration ranging from grass-roots programs to development projects on five continents. In his role as Manager, Project Generation Bob applies these skills and expertise to the evaluation of prospects and geologic terrains for their potential to add significant value to IBMLs portfolio. |

Accounts Administrator jjordan@interbasemetals.com Jenny joined the IBML Group in November 2006 as Accounts Administrator. Jenny comes to us with a 20 year background in banking working for both the Commonwealth and Westpac Banking Corporations. After returning from living overseas Jenny undertook further studies in Bookkeeping and MYOB, both of which are versatile resources for the company. |

A new recruit to mineral exploration, having previously worked in Aged Care, she is very enthusiastic about being part of the team at IBML. Vanessa combines a bubbly personality with cool professionalism when dealing with colleagues and clients. |

Penny has seven years mineral exploration experience, working for Union Miniere and Kennecott in the 1970s to 1980s. She then diversified into soft rock geology and spent 3 years as a Coal Geologist for the NSW Joint Coal Board logging diamond drill core and correlating coal seams in the Hunter Valley. She also has 10 years experience as a researcher and project co-ordinator for the NSW Department of Mineral Resources. Penny joined International Base Metals in January 2007 and manages tenement reporting and provides technical support for various project activities. |

Siobhain Howard is Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. Siobhain’s role is to provide day to day support for the Managing Director and manage a range of activities associated with the administration of the office. In addition, Siobhain is the Human Resources Coordinator for the IBML Group. Siobhain has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and has had extensive administration experience within different organisational settings.

Jane Morris Jane’s experience commenced with her role as Secretary, at the Geology Department La Trobe University Victoria for six years. Jane moved to Sydney where she worked at CRA (now Riotinto), then with Mining Consultants, Pells Sullivan and Meynink. After working in corporate governance Jane returned to the geotechnical field and joined IBML in November 2007.

Jane Morgan Jane Morgan is Investor Relations Coordinator to the IBML group of companies. Her role within the group is to utilise her events management and communication skills to promote the group as well as assisting both the CFO and the MD with all Investor Relations duties. Jane is also studying for a Commerce Degree majoring in Commerical Law. |

Garry is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and management of base metal and gold exploration projects in Australia, the southwest Pacific, southeast Asia and southern Africa. He holds a BSc (App Geol) from the University of NSW and a Masters in Minerals and Energy Economics from Macquarie University. He is also a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. |

John has over 30 years' experience in the Australian and international corporate markets. In that time he has been a director and company secretary for a diverse range of private and public listed companies. His prime interest has been in the finance and investment banking markets, in particular with the Standard Chartered Banking group in Australia where he was involved in the formation and development of corporate banking activities.

Eugenia Chow
BCom, MBA, CPA Financial Controller Eugenia is a Certified Practicing Accountant with more than 15 year experiences in commerce. Prior to joining IBML, she was a Financial Controller of an Australian listed company for more than 7 years and has a broad experience in financial reporting, merger and acquisition and cost restructure.

Enrico Gaoni Enrico is IBML's italian graphic designer. He has a multicultural background having lived in different countries including Italy, Sweden, Spain and the United States. He holds a bachelor in Marketing and Communications at the "Universita' per Stranieri" of Perugia, a second bachelor in photojournalism at MID Sweden University Sundsvall and a degree from the Academy of Art in Sundsvall/Sweden.
He has been working as freelance graphic designer for a number of years and jumped into photojournalism working with World class photographers at the renowned Magnum Photos in New York City.

Adriaan van Herk MSc Project geologist
avanherk@interbasemetals.com Adriaan, a Dutch structural geologist, joined the team in Sydney in September 2006. The day after his arrival from the cold and damp moorlands of Ireland he was sent into the field, and promptly started to blister in the South Australian sun!
Adriaan completed a Master of Science degree at Utrecht University in The Netherlands, researching structural and spatial analysis of gold in the Urals. In Dublin he embarked on an ambitious research project on fault reactivation.

Sherry Shang Sherry is a Certified Practicing Accountant who holds the position of financial accountant at IBML.
Prior to joining IBML, she had been working as a company accountant for five years in the Australian commercial industry and also spent more than seven years in a public listing company in China as a group accountant.
In her current role, she reports to the Financial Controller, with responsibilities encompassing the entire accounting functions of the Company, its subsidiaries and related corporations.
