The Directors of International Base Metals Limited have resolved to extend by fourteen days the Closing Date for the Rights Issue offered under the Prospectus dated 13 February 2009.

The Directors of International Base Metals Limited have resolved to extend by fourteen days the Closing Date for the Rights Issue offered under the Prospectus dated 13 February 2009. 

The Closing Date for the application for shares in the Rights Issue is now 23 March 2009.

The date for the Allotment and despatch of Share Certificates for the Rights Issue is 2 April 2009.

Management regrets that the letter accompanying the Notice of Meeting misrepresented the strong support shown from West Minerals and an inadvertent error priced their A$1,000,000 investment in September 2008 at 2 cents per share instead of 20 cents per share.
